Design of Cryogenic Pressure Vessels

Depending on the design of cryogenic pressure vessel parameters, tanks are produced to store the inner gas at -196 ºC or a lower temperature. The cryogenic storage tanks, pressure vessels, and vaporizers are manufactured in China. CODE 2000, EN 13458, EN 13530, ADR 2009, and the ASME Section are used as design standards.

The cryogenic vessels consist of two tanks: the inner tank, made of stainless steel 304L (X5 CrNi 18-10) and designed to EN13458 standards, and the outer tank, made of carbon steel and also designed to EN13458 standards. The space between the tanks is filled with Perlite aggregation and superinsulated using vacuum technology.

Cryogenic liquid tanks are designed for storing gases in liquid form and are tailored to meet customers’ pressure requirements. These tanks feature an inner tank constructed from stainless steel 304L (X5CrNi18-10 as per DIN 10028-7 or equivalent), designed according to EN 13530 – 2002 standards. The outer tank is crafted from carbon steel and also adheres to EN 13530:2002 design standards.

These tanks are engineered to maintain the desired pressure conditions while safely storing the stored substances’ liquid and gas phases.
