Cryogenic ISO Tanks- Bulk Gas Supply
According to ISO standards, Cryogenic ISO tanks are large transportable vacuum-insulated cryogenic vessels for liquefied gases.
They are designed for the transport of gases such as Nitrogen (LIN), Oxygen (LOX), Argon (LAR), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrous Oxide (N20), Ethylene and LNGs.
The tanks are double wall vacuum with state-of-the-art multi-layered super-insulation. They are designed to work at a higher working pressure of 22 bar.
DSW designs & engineers cryogenic intermodal containers, which allow for the easy distribution of large volumes of cryogenic liquids – perfect for applications requiring temporary usage or geographical isolation, as well as pilot plant trials.

Cryogenic ISO Container Types
| T14 tank container | Hazardous chemicals and acids like HCI and zinc chloride |
| T50 tank container | Gasses such as LPG and ammonia |
| T75 ISO tank container | Cryogenic gasses |
| Rubber-lined ISO tanker | Acid-based chemicals |
| Food-grade tank | Only loaded with food-grade products |
| Reefer tank | Ideal for food and chemicals |
| Gas tank | Suitable for the transport of gasses |
Features of a ISO Tanker
Insulation: Cryogenic iso tanker are heavily insulated to minimize heat transfer from the surroundings and maintain the low temperatures required for the stored gases. The iso tank is typically double-walled, with an inner stainless steel vessel and an outer shell made of materials like carbon steel or aluminum.
Vacuum Jacket: The space between the inner vessel and the outer shell is often evacuated to create a vacuum jacket. This vacuum insulation further reduces heat transfer by eliminating air and minimizing conduction and convection.
Pressure Control: Cryogenic ISO Tanks are designed to handle the pressures associated with the specific cryogenic gas being transported or stored. They are equipped with pressure relief devices to ensure safe pressure control within the tank.
Piping and Valves: Cryogenic ISO Tanks have a network of piping and valves to facilitate the loading, unloading, and transfer of the cryogenic gases. These components are designed to handle the extreme temperatures and pressures involved in the process.
Safety: Safety features such as emergency pressure relief devices, rupture discs, and thermal relief valves are incorporated into Cryogenic ISO Tanks to ensure safe operation and prevent overpressure situations.
Intermodal Transport: ISO tanker is built to standard ISO container dimensions, allowing for easy transportation and intermodal handling. They can be transported by road, rail, or ship, making them suitable for global distribution of cryogenic gases.
What are ISO tank containers?
Tank containers transport and store hazardous and nonhazardous materials like liquids, powders, and gases.
ISO tanks are constructed out of stainless steel with insulation and protective layers of aluminum or polyurethane coating – making them a secure way of moving various substances around.

ISO tank containers: Uses
Here are some of the most commonly shipped materials:
Fuel such as petrol, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG)
Dairy products
Alcoholic beverages such as wine and spirits
Chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide, sulfur acid, etc
Liquid food products such as cooking and vegetable oil, etc
Petrochemicals
Powders

Benefits of Cryogenic ISO Tank
There are numerous advantages associated with ISO tank containers. Let’s review a few here:
ISO tank containers have been internationally approved and are backed by a quality guarantee.
The cost of shipping is also significantly lower.
ISO tank containers are environment-friendly. These containers are designed to prevent spillage and leakage of products, particularly during long trips.
The fuel savings and carbon dioxide reductions are up to 70%.
ISO tanks are resistant to harsh weather.
It’s easy to load them and unload them.

Several styles and sizes of UN/DOT ISO Tanks are available in sizes 20m3, T14 ISO tank container, and T75 ISO tank container insulated 316L stainless steel tank containers for hazardous and non-hazardous liquids.
When a tank container is manufactured, it must comply with the size, durability, and strength as per the ISO standards. Each tank is strictly inspected, and only then is it certified.
The 20M3 Cryogenic ISO Tanks are designed to store cryogenic liquefied gases under pressure temporarily. Inner vessels are made of austenitic stainless steel and cold stretched for selected medium / high-pressure models.
