China Liquid Argon Tank
Liquid argon is a cryogenic liquid. Cryogenic liquids are liquefied gases with a typical boiling point below –130°F (–90°C). Liquid argon has a boiling point of –303°F (–186°C).
The temperature difference between the product and the surrounding environment, even in winter, is substantial.
Keeping this surrounding heat from the product requires special equipment to store and handle cryogenic liquids.
A liquid argon tank, also known as an argon storage tank or cryogenic argon tank, is a specialized container designed to store and transport liquid argon.
The 20 Ft ISO framework type LAR tank container or Liquid Argon Tank is applicable to Intermodal transportation. Marine, highway, and railroad transportation.
With its overall dimensions conforming to the ISO standards, the tank container has a rating for as high as 9 high stacking loaded.

Liquid Argon Tank & Cryogenic Storage Tank are insulated, vacuum-jacketed pressure vessels manufactured by DSW.
They come equipped with safety relief valves and rupture discs to protect the cylinders from pressure buildup.
Liquid Argon Tanks have various circuits to control product fill, pressure buildup, pressure relief, product withdrawal, and tank vacuum.

Argon or liquid Argon Applications:
1. Welding & Metal Fabrication
Argon actively functions as an inert shield gas to improve arc stability and enhance the characteristics of gas metal arc welding.
In addition, it serves as the primary gas in the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process, contributing to its effectiveness and efficiency.
2. Aerospace & Aircraft
Argon is a versatile industrial gas used in welding applications, such as welding speciality alloys and producing light bulbs and lasers. As an inert gas, it can also be used to provide an oxygen- and nitrogen-free environment for heat-treating processes.
3. Automotive & Transportation Equipment
Argon, in conjunction with other gases, actively facilitates the welding of automotive components such as auto parts, frames, and mufflers. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in creating an oxygen and nitrogen-free environment during annealing processes, ensuring optimal results. Additionally, argon is indispensable in the production of airbags, contributing to their reliable and safe functionality.
4. Metal Production
Argon is vital in maintaining precise temperature control and composition uniformity while actively preventing oxidation during various industrial processes. In the context of refining stainless steel through the Argon-Oxygen Decarburization method, argon serves as a crucial agent for purging carbon monoxide and effectively reducing chromium losses. By creating a protective and inert environment, argon enables efficient and controlled refinement of stainless steel, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and desired specifications.
