Seamless Steel ISO9809-1 Gas Cylinder for Iran
The ISO 9809-1 gas cylinder is standardized for storing and transporting compressed gases.
It adheres to the specifications outlined in the ISO 9809-1 international standard. It covers seamless steel gas cylinders with a water capacity of up to 150 litres and a maximum allowable working pressure of 300 bar.
These compressed gas cylinders are commonly used in various industries for medical, industrial, and speciality gas applications.

Application
Common applications include industrial processes, medical use, laboratory experiments, food and beverage processing, aerospace, automotive, fire suppression, and recreational activities.
Industrial Use: Gas cylinders are used in industrial settings for welding, cutting, brazing, and heating processes. They provide gases such as oxygen, acetylene, argon, and hydrogen necessary for these operations.
Medical Applications: In the medical field, gas cylinders are essential for storing medical gases like oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, and carbon dioxide. These gases are used for patient respiratory support, anesthesia, medical imaging, and various diagnostic procedures.
Food and Beverage Industry: Gas cylinders are used in food and beverage processing for carbonation, packaging, and preservation purposes. Carbon dioxide cylinders, in particular, are widely employed for carbonating beverages like soda and beer.
Automotive Applications: Gas cylinders are used in automotive applications for fuel storage in vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). They are also utilized in airbag deployment systems for vehicle safety.
Fire Suppression Systems: Gas cylinders containing fire suppression agents such as carbon dioxide and halon are used in fire extinguishing systems to suppress fires in critical environments like data centers, server rooms, and industrial facilities.
Recreational Activities: Gas cylinders are used in recreational activities such as scuba diving, paintball, and camping. They provide breathing gases for scuba divers, compressed air for paintball guns, and fuel for portable camping stoves and lanterns.

ISO 9809-1:2010 specifies minimum requirements for the material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes, examination and testing at manufacture of refillable quenched and tempered seamless steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0,5 l up to and including 150 l for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases.
