Liquid Nitrogen Tanks, Ln2 Storage Tanks
DSW is a critical provider in the global cryogenic equipment marketplace. It manufactures and services cryogenic storage units and accessories, from tanks, dewars, and vessels to custom fabrications.
We also provide containers of all sizes, such as dewars or tanks, to safely transport cryogenic gases.
Efficient Storage and Transportation Solutions
Liquid nitrogen tanks offer efficient, high-performance solutions for securely handling and storing liquid nitrogen and other liquid gases long-term.
Constructed with high-density materials, these cryogenic tanks provide robust resistance against corrosive and chemically aggressive substances.
The storage tanks’ wide or narrow-mouthed openings permit easy transference and pouring of cryogenic samples without spills. Offered in various sizes and handle styles, the cryogenic storage solutions transport dangerous liquids and prevent messes.
Feature
Tank sizes range from 1,320 to 52,834 US gallons (5,000 to 200,000 liters)
Maximum allowable working pressures between 175 and 500 psig (12 and 37 barg)
Available in horizontal and vertical configurations
Perlite or Composite Super Insulation system for high thermal performance, extended hold times, low life-cycle costs, and reduced weight
Double jacketed construction:
Stainless steel inner vessel
Carbon steel outer shell with integrated support and lifting system for simplified transport and installation
Durable coating for maximum corrosion resistance and environmental compliance
What are LN2 storage tanks?
To understand the different types of LN2 storage tanks, we need to consider their purpose (gas/liquid extraction), their working pressure (Aluminum or stainless steel), and their volume (in Litres).
Along with Nitrogen storage vessels, we can supply Nitrogen (N2), Oxygen (O2), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Argon (Ar), and Helium (He) vessels. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything.
Low-pressure nitrogen storage tanks
Low-pressure tanks can expect working pressures between 1.5 bar and 4 bar. These stainless steel tanks are usually mobile on casters. However, they can also be mounted to a stainless-steel transport cart with air tyres. Optionally, the pressure tanks may have a device for building pressure and a capacitive sensor to measure the level.
High-pressure LN2 Storage tanks
For high-pressure tanks, the working pressure range is 4 bar and, in some cases, up to 37 bar for removing gaseous Nitrogen. These tanks often have larger capacities, such as 180 Litres (the smallest),230 litres (the next one), and quickly going up to 600,1000 litres and many more.
